What are some Connecticut Lottery tips?

We are always happy to share tips to improve you chances of winning.

If you have any extra tips we should know about, drop us a line!

✓ TIP 1

2ND CHANCE DRAWINGS

When playing a game with a Second Chance Drawing, always make sure to enter your ticket. Its a free bonus chance to win.

✓ TIP 2

EQUAL CHANCES OF HITTING

Every ball in a draw style game has an equal chance of being chosen. There is no software that can predict the exact winning numbers. You can increase your chance of not splitting a jackpot if you select numbers that are not as commonly picked.

✓ TIP 3

DOUBLE CHECK TICKETS

Its always a good practice to not only visually check your tickets but to also scan them for winners. Mistakes happen and winning tickets get thrown out all the time.

✓ TIP 4

PLAN AHEAD

Lottery winners in Connecticut are considered public record so you cannot remain anonymous. Winners of $10,000 or more can request their information to be removed from the CT Lottery website but your information is still available upon request. Plan ahead since people will find out your identity.
