We love to share tips to make lotto players more informed.
Got any tips of your own? Let us know.
TIP #1: SCRATCHER GAME ODDS
Scratcher game odds are almost always better than draw games. However, unlike draw games, the odds to win bigger prizes can change daily based on ticket sales and prize claims.
TIP #2: PLAY THE RIGHT GAMES
Don't rely just on the overall odds to compare games. Check the odds of hitting specific prizes as prize odds can vary significantly between games, even games of the same ticket price.
TIP #3: CHECK SCRATCHERS FOR TAMPERING
Players should inspect their scratcher tickets to make sure the latex covering on the play area is intact. Do not accept a ticket if any part of the latex has been removed.
TIP #4: PLAN AHEAD
Lottery winners in the State of New Mexico are considered public record so you cannot remain anonymous. Plan ahead since people will find out your identity and how much you won.
