Scratch tickets may be cashed for up to 180 days from the close of the game. Winning draw tickets may be cashed up to 180 days from the date of the drawing.

Where can I claim a winning ticket?

Prize claims of $599 or less can be claimed at any lottery retailer, local claim center, Lottery Headquarters in Austin or by mail.

Prizes of $600 to $2.5MM can be claimed at a local claim center,Lottery Headquarters in Austin or by mail.

Prizes of $2.5MM up to $5MM can be claimed at claim centers in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston or San Antonio, at Lottery Headquarters in Austin or by mail.

Above $5MM, all Lotto Texas, Powerball and Mega Millions jackpot prizes, and prizes paid by annuities must be processed at the Texas Lottery Headquarters in Austin.

Can lottery winners remain anonymous?

In Texas, prize winners of $1,000,000 or more may choose to remain anonymous and prohibit all personally identifiable information from being released to the public.
