What is VA Pick 3 Drawing Time?
Drawings take place daily at 1:59 pm (Day Drawing) and 11:00 pm (Evening Drawing). The in-store sales cut-off time is 1:53 pm for the day draw and 10:45 pm for the night draw.

What are the Virginia Pick 3 Play Types?
EXACT: Match the winning numbers in exact order to win.
ANY: Match the winning numbers in any order to win.
50/50: Match the winning numbers in exact order and win 1/2 the Straight prize and 1/2 the Any prize, or match the winning numbers in any order and win 1/2 the Any prize only.
COMBO: Pick three numbers and an Exact bet is placed on every possible three-digit combination of those numbers. The ticket price is higher as more combinations are played.
PAIRS: Match the first two numbers in exact order (front pair), the last two numbers in exact order (back pair) or the first and last numbers in exact order (split pair).

How do I Play the VA Pick 3 Drawing?
- PICK YOUR NUMBERS:
Ask for a Quick Pick and let the lottery terminal select the numbers for you, or choose three numbers between 0 and 9.
- BUY YOUR TICKET:
Pick one of five different play types: Exact, Any, 50/50, Combo or Pairs. Cash 3 tickets cost either 50 cents or $1 per play.
- PLAY MULTIPLE DRAWINGS:
You can play your numbers for up to 20 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the cashier at the time of your purchase or mark the Multi Play box on your selection slip.
- ADD BOOST IT:
Adding Boost It is an option that will double the price of your play ticket. Boost It gives you five extra sets of easy pick numbers. If one of your Boost It sets is an exact match, you win $100 for a $1 play.

What is the VA Pick 3? Pick 3 is a twice daily draw game where players select three numbers, each from 0 through 9 to win a top prize of $500 for a $1 straight play.

Where and when can I play VA Pick 3? You can play both Midday and Evening Pick 3 at all Virginia Lottery retailers and online. Midday Draws take place at approximately 1:59 p.m. and evening draws at approximately 11:00 p.m. Tickets for each drawing may be purchased up to 6 minutes (day drawing) and 15 minutes (night drawing) prior to the next drawing.

Do VA Pick 3 tickets expire? Prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date on which the prize was won.
What is the VA Pick 3 Drawing?
VA Pick 3 is a twice daily draw game where you try to pick three numbers between 0 and 9 that match the winning numbers drawn to win a cash prize. You can also select Quick Pick and the random number generator will choose the numbers for you. The Virginia Lottery has a midday and evening Pick 3 drawing.
You are able to select the amount you want to play. Choose either 50 cents or $1. VA Pick 3 drawings are held seven days a week. All VA Lotto results are available immediately after each drawing.
Add Boost It to your play for more chances to win. Adding Boost It doubles the price of your base play ticket and you will receive five extra sets of easy pick numbers. If one of your Boost sets is an exact match to the numbers drawn, you win.
