WV Lottery scratch off prizes can be collected up to 180 days after the end date of the game. Draw game prizes can be collected up to 180 after the drawing that the ticket was purchased for.
How can I claim a winning ticket?
Prize claims up to and including $600 can be claimed at a WV lottery retailer, lottery headquarters or by mail.
Prizes above $600 can be claimed at a lottery headquarters or by mail.
Can lottery winners remain anonymous?
Sometimes. Prizes won greater than $1 million can be claimed anonymously if the winner wishes. The winner’s name, personal contact information and likeness will not be released. All other winners are made public and list on the WV Lottery website.
