What are the TX Pick 4 Play Types?

STRAIGHT: Match the winning numbers in exact order to win.

BOX: Match the winning numbers in any order to win.

STRAIGHT/BOX: Match the winning numbers in exact order and win 1/2 the Straight prize and 1/2 the Box prize, or match the winning numbers in any order and win 1/2 the Box prize only. 

COMBO: Pick four numbers and a Straight bet is placed on every possible four-digit combination of those numbers.  The ticket price is higher as more combinations are played. 

PAIRS: Match the first two numbers in exact order (front pair), the last two numbers in exact order (back pair) or the middle two numbers in exact order (mid pair).

How do I Play Texas Pick 4 Morning Draw?


    Ask for a Quick Pick and let the lottery terminal select the numbers for you, or choose four numbers between 0 and 9.


    Pick one of five different play types: Straight, Box, Straight/Box, Combo or Pairs.  TX Pick 4 tickets cost either 50 cents or $1 per play.


    You can play your numbers for up to 24 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the cashier at the time of your purchase or mark the Advance Play box on your selection slip.


    Adding Fireball is an option that will double the price of your play ticket.  The Fireball number can be used to replace any number drawn, giving players an extra chance to create more combinations.

What is Texas Daily 4 Morning?

Texas Daily 4 Morning is a day time draw game where you try to pick four numbers between 0 and 9 that match the winning numbers drawn to win a cash prize.  You can also select Quick Pick and the random number generator will choose the numbers for you.  TX Pick 4 morning has three additional daily drawings: Day, Evening and Night.

You are able to select the amount you want to play.  Choose either 50 cents or $1.  TX Daily 4 drawings are held six days a week.  All TexasLotto results are available immediately after each drawing.
