What scratch off prizes are remaining?

The top remaining scratcher prizes, ranked from largest to smallest top prize, are as follows. For a complete list of remaining prizes for all games, visit our Virginia Lottery Remaining Prizes page.

What does Overall Odds mean?

Overall Odds are the likelihood of winning any prize, even those equal to the ticket cost. They may appear something like “1 in 3.5”; however, that does not assure one win out of every four tickets. These odds are the average wins calculated over all tickets in the game.

The Overall Odds are typically printed on the back of scratcher tickets and the only odds players are aware. Experienced players may instead rely on REAL Odds™️, which are the odds of winning any prize greater than breakeven.

What is the BEST scratch off to buy?

Players who ask this question often and are referring to which game has the best Overall Odds – the best odds to win any prize, including breakeven prizes. That is because they don’t realize prize level odds data is available. The BEST game to play is going to vary player to player and what their prize goals.

Which scratcher wins the most?

Players differ on what they mean when they ask which scratcher wins the most. Are they referring to the most frequent wins or best paying? Let’s breakdown these common meanings:

Overall Odds – The best overall odds will have the most “wins”; however, these games are packed with breakeven prizes and free tickets. Players will see more frequent wins, but often they will just be winning their money back.

Prize Payout – The Prize Payout is the percent of ticket sales paid out as prize money. Typically higher priced games will payout more prize money than the less expensive games.
