Sales cut-off time is 2:15 pm for the midday drawing and 10:20pm for the evening draw. Draw time is approximately 15 minutes (midday drawing) and 10 minutes (night drawing) after the draw entry close.

How do I Play NY Take Five?
- PICK YOUR NUMBERS:
Select 5 numbers from 1 to 39. Use a playslip to mark your numbers or mark the Quick Pick (QP) box to randomly select any or all of your numbers for each play.
- BUY YOUR TICKET:
Take 5 tickets cost $1 per play. Your ticket is your receipt.
- PLAY MULTIPLE DRAWINGS:
You can play your numbers for up to 7 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the cashier at the time of your purchase or mark the Advance Play box on your selection slip.

How much is the NY Take 5 top prize? Each top prize is based on the amount of sales for the drawing. Approximately 50% of ticket sales are allocated to prize money and the top prize is 20% of the prize pool.

When are Take 5 drawings held? Draws take place every day at 2:30 and 10:30 pm. Sales are paused 15 minutes prior to the day drawing and 10 minutes prior to the evening drawing.

How long do I have to claim my NY Take 5 prize? You have 1 year from the date of the draw to claim your prize.
What is NY Take 5?
NY Take 5 is twice daily draw game where you try to pick five numbers between 1 and 39 that match the winning numbers drawn to win a cash prize. You can also select Quick Pick and the random number generator will choose the numbers for you.
Tickets cost $1 per play. The top prize isn’t fixed and is based on a percentage of overall ticket sales. To win the top prize, players must match all six numbers drawn. All New York Lottery results are available immediately after each drawing.
