What are the Indiana Pick 3 Play Types?

STRAIGHT: Match the winning numbers in exact order to win.

BOX: Match the winning numbers in any order to win.

COMBO ($1 MIN PLAY): Match the winning numbers in exact order or match the winning numbers in any order.

WHEEL: Pick three numbers and a Straight bet is placed on every possible three-digit combination of those numbers.  The ticket price is higher as more combinations are played.

1-OFF: Selected numbers may be either one higher or one lower than the winning numbers and match in exact order to win.  1-OFF does not pay on a straight.

PAIRS: Match the first two numbers in exact order (front pair) or the last two numbers in exact order (back pair).

How do I Play Hoosier Daily 3 Draw?


    Ask for a Quick Pick and let the lottery terminal select the numbers for you, or choose three numbers between 0 and 9.


    Pick one of seven different play types: Straight, Box, Combo, Wheel, 1-OFF or Pairs (Front or Back).  Cash 3 tickets cost 50 cents, $1, $2, $5 or $10 per play.


    You can play your numbers for up to 28 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the cashier at the time of your purchase or mark the Multi Play box on your selection slip.


    Adding Superball is an option that will double the price of your play ticket.  The Superball number can be used to replace any number drawn, giving players an extra chance to create more combinations.  Superball is not available on a 1-OFF wager.

A: Prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date on which the prize was won.

What is Indiana Daily 3?

Indiana Daily 3 Midday is a day time draw game where you try to pick three numbers between 0 and 9 that match the winning numbers drawn to win a cash prize.  You can also select Quick Pick and the random number generator will choose the numbers for you.  The Hoosier Lottery has an evening Pick 3 draw game as well.

You are able to select the amount you want to play.  Choose between a 50 cent, $1, $2, $5 or $10 wager.  IN Pick 3 drawings are held seven days a week.  All Indiana lottery results are available immediately after each drawing.
