Last week, we talked about what normal looks like.
Most prize levels tend to move together.
The percent remaining stays fairly aligned.
Nothing sticks out.
Today, we’re looking for the opposite.
Because sometimes…
one prize doesn’t follow the pattern.
This is what we call an outlier.
Here’s a simple example.
Imagine a game where less than 20% of tickets remain.
Most prize levels show around 20% prizes remaining.
But the top prize?
Still shows 75% prizes remaining.
That really sticks out.
That prize didn’t move with the rest of the game.
Now—important pause.
This does not mean the prize is guaranteed to hit.
It just means that prize has behaved differently than expected.
And that’s worth noticing.
Outliers tell you where to pay attention.
This is especially useful if you don’t have a PRO subscription.
By scanning % prizes remaining, you can sometimes spot these outliers yourself.
No advanced tools required.
Just observation and some spare time.
And if you do have PRO?
Go look at HitAlerts, the hard work is already done for you.
And at a more refined level.
We’re constantly watching for games that break their normal patterns
and flagging them when something stands out.
Same idea.
Just automated.
Once you know what “normal” looks like,
the exceptions become much easier to see.
That’s the whole point.
Play smart.
Have fun.
And never risk more than you can afford.
