What are VT Pick 3 Draw Times?

Sales cut-off time is 1:00 pm ET for the midday draw and 6:45 pm for the evening.  Draw time is approximately 10 minutes after the draw entry close.

What are the VT Pick 3 Play Types?

STRAIGHT: Match the winning numbers in exact order to win.

BOX: Match the winning numbers in any order to win.

PAIRS: Match the first two numbers in exact order (front pair) or the last two numbers in exact order (back pair). 

1-NUMBER: Choose a single number to play in the first, second or third position.  Match your number to the winning number in the exact position to win.

How do I Play Vermont Pick 3 Draw?

  1. PICK YOUR NUMBERS: 

    Ask for a Quick Pick and let the lottery terminal select the numbers for you, or choose three numbers between 0 and 9.

  2. BUY YOUR TICKET: 

    Pick one of four different play types: Straight, Box, Pairs or 1-Number.  Cash 3 tickets cost between 50 cents and $5 per play.

  3. PLAY MULTIPLE DRAWINGS:

    You can play your numbers for up to 42 consecutive drawing dates on the same ticket. Just tell the cashier at the time of your purchase or mark the Multi Play box on your selection slip.

A: Players can choose the wager to make with tickets costing between 50 cents to $5 per play.


Q: Where and when can I play VT Pick 3?

A: You can play both Midday and Evening Pick 3 at all Vermont Lottery retailers. Midday Draws take place at approximately 1:10 p.m. and evening draws at approximately 6:55 p.m.  Tickets for each drawing may be purchased up to 10 minutes (day draw) or 14 minutes (evening draw) prior to the next drawing.


Q: Do VT Pick 3 tickets expire?

A: Prizes must be claimed within 1 year of the draw date on which the prize was won.

What is Vermont Pick 3?

Vermont Pick 3 Day is a day time draw game where you try to pick three numbers between 0 and 9 that match the winning numbers drawn to win a cash prize.  You can also select Quick Pick and the random number generator will choose the numbers for you.  VT Pick 3 Day has an evening draw game as well.

You are able to select the amount you want to play.  Choose the amount to wager from 50 cents to $5.  VT Pick 3 drawings are held seven days a week.  All Vermont results are available immediately after each drawing.
